Welcome to the Rigsby Contemporary Museum! Come on in, we are excited to share our first exhibit with you!
What a nice desk...but there's no-one here to tell us the price of entrance...must be free!
Let's snoop around since no-one is here! heehee
Paper work and coffee...no surprises there. But that seems to be a pretty cool 614 article!
Lightbulbs, drill, flashlight, first aid, all the emergency precautions!
And of course snacks!
A fire alarm too? Whew we feel super safe!
Wait, what's in that first room?
A life-size chess set using classic objects of baby shower trinkets? hmmm...this artist must be exploring gender and the colors assigned to us before we are even born.
I really feel we should mess this up, who is around to stop us? Let's play a game!
Who is winning?
Hey! No photography in the Museum please!
Oh whoops, we should put everything back before we get in trouble!
Bored with this....Lets see what is upstairs!
A white picket fence....
and some art...hmmm...that little girl looks so sad.
Wonder if it relates to the color assignment discussion from downstairs?
Blue and Pink Presents.
What is that flying thing?
Why it looks like a sculpture....of a girl, on a star wars toy?
Looks Like she's about to fly on out of here!
While she flys away, let's check out the next room!
What? Oh Life size Legos!
Oh yes! I heard about this show! The artist went to the toy store and was appalled by the toy choices for girls and boys.
She said it was like the parting of the sea, on one side we had blue action toys and on the other pink object toys.
Looks like she decided to do some role switching with the toys!
Outside advertising, all the big museums are doing it these days.
Hey what's in here? The ED's office, cool lets snoop some more!
hmmm, kinda messy!
Fancy office chair!
The alarm panel, some art, and another article. This one is from the Alive! Cool.
Wow, looks like she spends so much time here she has a bed for her kittens Dot and Dorrie.
Good thing she has Tylenol!
Let's get a better look at the art!
Dot? Dorrie? Not sure who...but it looks like they've made a new friend...or foe?
It's Carl the Cardinal! Friend, not foe.
Hungry! Does this place have a Cafe'?
Why yes! On the very top floor.
Zoë's Cafe', named after the youngest Rigsby. She is a fellow cat lover.
What's on the menu? Tomato and Fresh Mozz salad?! A favorite summer meal.
The Rigsby's sure are great hosts! Lets check out the rooftop view!
Whoa!!! Don't fall!
Sure is high up....What's that sculpture on the right? Let's go down and get a closer look
First we have to stop at the restrooms!
They are around the corner
with all the modern amenities
Now, about that sculpture...
Huh, Looks like you might want to watch your fingers on those huge razor blades.
Of Course! Wouldn't be a museum without the gift show now would it?
Beautiful Losers, Swoon, Gorilla Girls, Andy and beer mugs with the museum logo?! Wow!
Prints of S.Rond and a book about the Museum...
What to buy...what to buy...heehee. Thanks for visiting! Come again soon!
