Curators Statement : Traditionally Christopher does not enlarge or shrink his subject matter. So with this show he chose to keep the subject matter small and crop when needed.  I have always been a huge fan of Christopher’s use of texture.  In this show, you can see how much Christopher enjoyed manipulating materials such as sand, fabric and bits of broken wood to create texture on a small scale. He wanted  to do as much as possible with such a limited size and I feel he has hit his mark.   I titled the show Craftsman, because by definition, the word sums Christopher up in a nutshell . I am proud to watch his career in the arts grow.

Please enjoy the Show. Cheers.  Michael
