  • "the bear & the butterfly" in a forest far from here there is a bear and a butterfuly. they have spent their entire lives together but never knowing the other was there. the bear loved to lay in the field making stories in his head out of the shapes in the sky. he did this everyday until one day everything changed. he spotted the butterfly from the corner of his eye and he instantly became memorized by her softness and the beautiful patterns that covered her wings. all the bear wanted was a closer look but the butterfly never stopped for more than a moment. the butterfly would be smelling the daises and then the next moment be resting on the tree. Before the bear could even get close enough to see the intricate patterns of the wings the butterfly would be half way across the flied unable to be caught. all the bear wanted was a chance to see the butterfly up close. everyday the bear would lay in the field waiting for the butterfly to appear, and everyday was the same. the butterfly moved so quickly it seemed like it was escaping from connecting with any living thing for too long. everyday was the same the butterfly would fly from daisy to tree, to rose to weeds never stopping more than a moment. finally one day the bear had, had enough and yelled out into the sky " butterfly what is it that your running from? everyday i watch you fluttering from plant to plant never giving anyone a chance. all i want is a second to see the beatuy of your wings." the butterfly was puzzled no one had ever talked to it before. no thing had ever questioned why it flew from place to place. the butterfly paused for a moment and then replied "the daisies are to weak they nearly break with all my weight. the trees are to hard and bruise my wings if i stay too long. i'm so tired everyday i search this forest looking for a place to stop and rest and nothing ever feels right." "what about me?" said the bear and pointed to his shoulder. "there is no way you could ever break me, and i'm covered in fur there is no way i could ever hurt you. come and rest on me for a while, all i've wanted is a chance just to see what you are"
